Anne Porskær and Lena Spøhr released their first Mala collection in the winter of 2005. Today they lead a team of creative and positive people, making the MALA house a place where happiness meets design.

MALA is Danish design at its best,  an expression that is simple, Nordic, but always with an angle.  Where functionality for everyday use is the most important feature. 

MALA is a brand with symmetrical prints and strong colors, which appeals to children’s fantasy, ideally suited to play and movement. The designers have, with their retro-inspired prints, managed to create a line which is in the spirit of our time. Their collections are full of colours, dots, graphic flower prints. The style is clean and consistent - and irresistible...

The collection offers everything in underwear, dresses and skirts, blouses and jackets, pants, hats, mittens and outerwear for 2-10 year olds, completed with a baby collection.

All of Mala's jersey basic collection is Ecotex certified Standard 100, their fleece collection is made from recycled plastic bottles and they have established themselves as one of the leading manufacturers of UV-TECH swimwear, sun protection swim- and beachwear.

This particular sector is the company's flagship product – their pride and joy.
