Established in 2005 by friends Camilla Liedner and Kirsten Noergaard, Norlie is a combination of their last names, which evokes the Nordic identity that is such an important part of the brand. It started out with a sophisticated home wear collection for babies and children aged 0-10 years. Norlie soon gained a reputation for their innovative and exclusive knitwear line. The soft jersey qualities have been since the beginning an important part of the collection, completed by a woven line that complements both the jerseys and the knitwear in order to create a complete collection. The douched color palette is inspired by the Nordic atmosphere in which the collection is created.

Norlie stands for comfortable clothes that have a timeless simplicity, but contemporary and relevant in time, freedom of movement, and pure fabrics in delicate, soft and breathable materials, combined with the importance of usability.
