Nylon is a synthetic polymer, made to be a replacement for silk. It is a thermoplastic, silky material, and is frequently referred to as polyamide (PA). Taffeta nylon, because of its finer weave, has an excellent balance of surface and smoothness. It is very stable fabric because of the many iner-weavings.
